Designed for Maintenance/Service Staff at all levels, Managers, Inspectors, Advanced Apprentices and Technical Representatives.
This course builds upon your knowledge gained whilst attending the Stage 1 Hydraulics Course.
You cannot Manage without Measurement 70-80% of systems fail due to contamination ingression “CONTROL-MEASUREMENT-MANAGE”
“CONTAMINATION MANAGEMENT” (CM1)It will enable you to improve your existing procedures and be more aware of contamination ingression, associated costs and failures. It will cover flushing and associated measurement to ISO Standards. £300.00 Exc VA

Candidates will receive a comprehensive set of course notes, lunch, refreshments and certificate of attendance.
Stage 1 Hydraulics or equivalent.
Course 1concentrates on the REAL HARD FACTS and will provide you with a thorough understanding of the origin of contaminants and the procedures that must be followed at all times to minimise ingression to acceptable levels.
You will be made aware of associated costs of failure and the importance of following flushing procedures and that of quantifying cleanliness levels through measure processes aligned to ISO Standards
Course 1 – Knowledge Based
On completion of this course candidates will know:
- The real hard facts. “keep it out” and reduce costs and improve reliability
- Origin & nature of Contamination and effects on components
- The wear process that takes place ( How it affects the life of the hydraulic fluid)
- The importance of oil management 6) BFPA guidelines P5 for target cleanliness level
- Interpret Cleanliness Standards
