The National Fluid Power Centre Ltd (NFPC) opened in 2000 and has become a world class leader in the field of Learning and Development involving Integrated Systems relating to Hydraulics, Electro-Hydraulics, Electro-Pneumatics, Applied Electronics, Control, Automation, Sensor Technology, Data Management and Predictive Maintenance Techniques.

The NFPC is ISO 9001:2015 Approved by NQA and operates a Quality Management System adhering to this International Standard. The NFPC is a BFPA Certified CETOP Approved Education Centre and currently the only one in the UK offering CETOP Competence Based Qualification at Levels 1, 2 and 3 involving Mobile Hydraulic Systems, Industrial Hydraulic Systems and Pneumatics.

Formally Approved by: Bosch Rexroth, Parker Hannifin, Hydac Technologies, Danfoss, MOOG, Shell Oils, Sun Hydraulics, Pall Corporation, MP Filtri, WEBTEC Products, Kawasaki, STAUFF UK, Husco, FASSI, and Torishima. These same Companies are members of the NFPC Advisory and Strategic Group, comprising of over 60 National and International Companies.

The Advisory Group supports the equipment base at the Centre, the mentorship of the staff and the marketing and sales of the NFPC range of short training Courses. They send their own Staff to the Centre to be trained and utilise the facilities to train their own Customers. The NFPC is a Model of collaboration with UK Industry.

The NFPC has possibly the best practical training facilities in Europe and our Courses have a very HIGH PRACTICAL CONTENT. All of our Systems Training Engineers are from UK Industry and present our Training Courses supported by a vast experience and knowledge relating to the maintenance and management of Fluid Power Systems and Control.

We guarantee on attending the NFPC, you will return to your place of work, working safer, more efficiently with improved procedural thinking, communicating better and with greater knowledge and skills to manage and maintain your own systems. Currently, the NFPC supports the Learning and Development of Technical Staff from 27 Sectors of UK Industry including: Offshore Wind Energy, Construction, Network Rail, Canal River Trust, Aggregate Industries, Steel Manufacturing, Agricultural Industry, Materials Handling, Offshore Oil, Paper and Pulp, Mobile, Piling and Drilling and many, many more.

We remain a flexible responsive Organisation and although we offer an extensive range of Courses including: Contamination Management, Pumps and Controls, PLC Workshops, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, Proportional Control, Hose Assembly Technology, Accumulator Competence and Principles of Hydraulic System Design Courses and many more; we will also design Courses to meet your specific needs.

Our Systems Training Engineers have a vast experience involving “Training Needs Analysis” and we offer bespoke training designed to meet your needs. The Bespoke Training can be delivered at the NFPC or on the Customers’ Site.
