The National Fluid Power Centre (NFPC) proudly marked a major milestone on April 1st, 2025, celebrating 25 years of dedicated service to the learning and development of the UK workforce in the fields of Mobile and Industrial Hydraulics, Electro-Hydraulics, Electro-Pneumatics, and Control.
Since its inception, the NFPC has played a key role in upskilling engineers and technicians across a wide range of industries, maintaining its position as the UK’s leading training provider in fluid power and control technologies, which John Savage, NFPC Managing Director, and his team are very much proud of.
As part of the 25 year celebration, the NFPC invited existing customers, staff and industry professionals over to the NFPC in Worksop, Nottinghamshire to come and meet the staff and technical instructors, take a look at the outstanding practical training areas, and discuss training needs and how the NFPC can help.

The anniversary celebration was highlighted by a special presentation from long-time industry partner Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion and control technologies. In recognition of the NFPC’s continued impact and success, Parker Hannifin presented a commemorative plaque to honour the centre’s 25 years of service.
The plaque was presented by Philip Ingate of Parker Hannifin to NFPC Managing Director, John R Savage. Parker Hannifin has been a valued member of the NFPC Advisory and Strategic Planning Committee and has provided unwavering support throughout the years — from supplying cutting-edge equipment to offering expert mentorship to NFPC staff.

John R Savage expressed his gratitude during the ceremony, stating, “This recognition from Parker Hannifin means a great deal to us. Their commitment over the past 25 years has been instrumental in our growth and ability to deliver industry-leading training. A big thank you to the entire team at Parker.”
As the NFPC looks ahead to the future, the organisation remains committed to innovation, partnership, and continuing its mission to support the UK’s evolving industrial and engineering sectors.
