What’s happening on the day?

The event will kick off on Wednesday 23rd October 2024 at 9:00 am with an official opening by the NFPC Director, John Savage, and Chairman of the NFPC Advisory Group in Technical Centre 1. The exhibition will officially open at 9:30 am, providing a number of opportunity to network with industry peers and explore the various stands. The day’s schedule includes technical lectures, starting with Martin Cuthbert from WEBTEC Products at 10:45 am. His lecture will cover optimising and maintaining hydraulic efficiency on mobile machinery, discussing strategies and tools for improving design and service.

At 12:45 pm, all attendees are invited to a group lunch at Technical Centre 1. The exhibition will resume at 1:45 pm, leading into a second technical lecture at 2:00 pm by David Jowitt from Wandfluh. This session will focus on amplifiers and controllers for proportional valves, highlighting control options and their impact on system performance. The day will conclude at 3:30 pm with closing remarks and a prize draw in Technical Centre 1.

Additional technical lectures will be presented by Ian Meredith and Alastair Desouza, covering IIOT data collection and its relevance for legacy machines using SNAP technology. These sessions will offer valuable insights into data collection techniques and their practical applications.

John R Savage, NFPC Managing Director, reflects on last year’s success:
