The NFPC is delighted to congratulate Tallulah McHugh on successfully completing her Introduction to Hydraulics course — a prize she received for winning the Post-16 Engineering Apprentice Award at the JCB Academy, held in July 2025 and proudly sponsored by the NFPC.
Tallulah attended the course at the NFPC with support from Dave Slater and Adrian Hudson of the NFPC. Her enthusiasm and dedication shone through as she embraced every aspect of the programme.
Reflecting on her experience, Tallulah said she “enjoyed the course immensely,” adding that it provided valuable insights into the practical and theoretical applications of hydraulic systems.
We are also thrilled to learn that Tallulah has now been taken on by Hill Helicopters, where she will be undertaking a Foundation Degree in Engineering. Everyone at the NFPC wishes her the very best in her studies and future career — we’re proud to have played a small part at the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey in engineering.
John Savage, Managing Director of NFPC, commented: “the NFPC fully supports the JCB Academy and we are very proud to annually sponsor the Post-16 Engineering Apprentice Award.”
If you’re inspired by Tallulah’s success and want to build a solid foundation in fluid power and hydraulics, why not take the first step yourself?
