This course has been designed for technical staff involved in the maintenance and management of pneumatic systems. This course is a pre-requisite to our Stage 2 Electro-pneumatics course.

On completion of this course candidates will:
Have an insight into the operation, application and maintenance of powerpneumatic systems and their controls
Have a thorough understanding of basic pneumatic principles
Develop diagnostic skills and a logical approach to fault finding

Properties of compressed air
Dangers associated with compressed air systems
Planning a compressed air installation
Types of compressors
Receivers and dryers
Treatment of compressed air at the point of use
Pneumatic symbols; reading and interpreting schematic diagrams
Leading to:
Certificate of attendance.
Stage 2 Electro-pneumatics.
This course provides an excellent foundation for those wishing to gain a CETOP qualification.
