The level of this programme demands a previous knowledge and working experience of power hydraulics. This course combines distance learning with accompanying modules at the National Fluid Power Centre followed by written and practical competence assessments.

Who is it for:
This BFPA Level 3 qualification is designed for those personnel involved in the maintenance and management of industrial hydraulic
systems and associated controls, who require knowledge and competence based skills to support such work
based activities as:- planning and preparation, interpreting and using technical information, devising and
following procedures associated with installation, commissioning, testing, fault diagnosis,
maintenance, servicing and re-establishing a machine "fit for purpose".
Entry Requirements:
Candidates must have previously attended the Stage 2 Industrial Hydraulics training course.
