Training Courses

The National Fluid Power Centre is a world leader for training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics and associated control. Our training courses combine first-class education with the most advanced practical training facilities in our specially designed laboratory. Throughout the year we provide a wide range of training courses in hydraulics, electro-hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics and associated control systems. Hydraulics Training Courses

Our hydraulics training courses are designed for everyone from non-technical staff through to personnel that are involved in the maintenance, management and design of fluid power systems. Our hydraulics courses cover mobile and industrial applications and all courses will take advantage of our specially designed hydraulics laboratory.

Electro-hydraulics, Control & Automation Training Courses

Our electro-hydraulics training courses are designed for learners who need to gain knowledge of the interaction of electrical and electronic systems with hydraulics. These courses cover a variety of levels from basic principles to more advanced control methods. We also have available electrical drives and PLC training courses.

Pneumatics Training Courses

We offer pneumatics training courses which can give an introduction to the subject and principles, or learn more about the associated control systems now in use. The pneumatics courses will use the practical facilities available at the NFPC.

CETOP/BFPA Certified Qualifications
The NFPC is the first Centre in Europe to be approved to deliver CETOP/BFPA Competence Based Qualifications in Mobile and Industrial Hydraulics. They are designed to meet the needs of those people involved in the maintenance, management and design of fluid power systems, covering both mobile and industrial applications. The NFPC is also the first training centre in the United Kingdom to be approved to deliver CETOP/BFPA Pneumatics qualifications.
